Identify and secure new business opportunities for the cargo terminal, cruise terminal and on-dock warehouse as to create new revenue stream continuously for the company
Develop action plans to achieve targets set by head of department
Expand the company’s customer base through proactive sales calls
Liaise with different partners to provide necessary value-added services to facilitate our end-users to utilize our terminal facilities
Liaise with respective government authorities to streamline process as to improve the terminal’s competence
Build up strong connections with trader, forwarders, logistics service providers as to stay close to market dynamic, capture business opportunities and market intelligences
Support head of department to handle company’s commercial issues
Conduct market analysis
Ensure all our actions are aligned with the overall objectives of the company
Take up other projects and/or assignments instructed by the senior levels
Skills
5 years’ sales and marketing and/or operation experience in logistics/warehousing/cargo terminal/cruise terminal
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Logistic Management and Business Management
Very good connection logistics service providers in Oman and UAE
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines and sales target
Outgoing, proactive and detail-oriented
Being able to adapt to changing environments
Good communication and negotiation skills
Valid Oman driving license holder, could have frequent travel
Good knowledge of MS Office
Proficient in spoken and written English, and Arabic will be added value
