Position: Assistant Catering Sales Manager (Full time #537176)
Property / Office: Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Main Responsibilities:
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and other set KPI targets in External Events sale by developing and upselling to the existing accounts and securing new accounts in line with the sales strategy across all revenue segments (Corp/Govt., Private, Takeaway/Deliveries, Contracted catering) to contribute to the commercial success of EPC in delivering commercially-viable events
  • Actively identify and convert leads, continuously research market trends along with competitor activity, as well as new opportunities and partnerships, consistently grow client database, recommend sales strategy - to retain and grow EPC External Events market share. Should also assist in hiring and take ownership in guiding and developing pro-active, efficient sales force- with succession plan.
  • Provide direct input to the budgeting process based on the past achievements and current market trends in order to build realistic and challenging budgets based on continuous growth and corporate strategy.
  • Cascading event details on time to respective delivery departments to meet clients\xe2\x80\x99 expectations. Pre-event brief with Event Profitability analysis through configurator and post event reports to be provided for all major events (Royalty & Events generating above AED 100K in Revenues).
  • Consolidate event feedback, ensure action if required and keep the record for future events
  • Remain responsible for the financial closure of the events, keeping outstanding payments to minimum levels and adhering to all audit requirements to ensure compliance
  • Ensure self and team adhere to company policies and procedures and business ethic codes to reflect company values and image
  • Operate within established level of administrative responsibility with regards to sales to ensure efficiency and compliance, including preparation of reports and delivery of any projects assigned by the Line Manager
  • Discharge other duties as needed or required and deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • The role will require engagement for flexible hours and days, based on operational requirements.
  • The job involves both off-site sales and meetings as well as event administrative and support work.
Skills & Requirements:
  • Degree from Reputable Institution or Diploma in Hotel, Management/Sales, MBA Preferred.
  • At Least 3 Years\xe2\x80\x99 Experience in Sales/Customer Service Senior Role, Preferably in Hospitality or Event Management Industry.
  • Superior Sales and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Excellent Computer Skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Fluent Written/Spoken English. Proficiency in Arabic Preferred.
  • Valid UAE Driving License and Own a Vehicle.
