The Role
Company: A fast growing importer and distributor of food products. Purpose: - Assist in sourcing goods at best price with best quality. - Main duties include negotiating deals with suppliers, make sure that ordering cycle is implemented correctly across all functions (internal & external). Key Accountabilities: - Must have knowledge and common understanding for the industry - Work with sales staff to obtain information about customer specific needs and preferences - Assist in Sourcing goods, monitoring the order cycle and applying costs comparison based on the demand - Negotiate and purchase products at the most favourable price, consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other established factors - Manage contracts with suppliers for signature and submission - Handle the demand plan and align with both suppliers and logistics dept. for proper execution to ensure continuity of supplies - Ensure processing purchase orders, tracking orders, follow up on quality assurance and liaising with Supply Chain teams - Handle claim process cycle - Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports based on the company requirements - Book all orders with supplier agreeing on specs details, prices , incoterms, booking etc.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as preference in the Fresh Perishable or Produce industry - Good verbal and written Communication skills - Commercial awareness - Problem solving - Able to work in multicultural environment - Able to cope with pressure and adapt to situations - Speed and analytical mind set - ERP system knowledge/Windows/Microsoft Office
