A prestigious luxury hotel group in Qatar is seeking a skilled and detail oriented

Assistant Banqueting Manager

to support the successful execution of high-end banquets, corporate functions, and private events. The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering flawless service and upholding the brand's elevated hospitality standards throughout all events.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Banqueting Manager in the organization and smooth execution of events and banquet functions. Supervise the setup, service operation, and post-event breakdown to ensure efficiency and quality. Liaise with clients to confirm event expectations and ensure their needs are fully met or exceeded. Collaborate with culinary, service, and support teams to ensure seamless event delivery. Oversee and guide banquet staff, ensuring tasks are assigned clearly and efficiently during events. Monitor service standards during functions and address guest feedback promptly. Maintain control over banquet inventory, equipment care, and supplies. Ensure all health, hygiene, and safety protocols are strictly followed. Provide support in training and mentoring junior team members to uphold service excellence. Contribute to administrative tasks including report preparation, scheduling, and billing.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Diploma or degree

in Hospitality Management or a related discipline (preferred). Certification in

Food Safety and Hygiene

is an advantage.

2-4 years of managerial experience

in banqueting, events, or F&B operations in a luxury hotel or upscale venue preferred. Proven leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication skills and a guest-centric attitude. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards. Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and basic event planning tools. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
