The Department of Integrative Agriculture seeks to fill position in Poultry Management and Production at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor with teaching, research and community services responsibilities. Highly motivated candidates with a Ph.D. in Poultry Science, Management, and Production with experience in applied aspects of poultry sciences including nutrition, breeding, welfare, genetics, biosecurity, and physiology. The successful candidate is expected to develop a competitive and internationally visible research program in Poultry Sciences with emphases on Poultry Management and Production with distinct scholarly outcomes including publications and presentations. He/she should be able to maintain a consistently funded research program through internal and external/collaborative support. The candidate must develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Poultry/Animal Science, supervise M.S. and Ph.D. students, advise departmental student organizations, and participate in appropriate professional and University services.

Minimum Qualifacation

Applicants must have a PhD in Poultry Management and Production or closely related areas. A proven track record of research, extramural research funding, impactful publications, graduate mentoring and undergraduate teaching are essential.

Preferred Qualifacation

Postdoctoral experience is desirable. Previous experience in poultry management and production, breeding, and animal genetics would be an advantage.
