Job summary:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated

Agricultural Engineer

to join our

Pest Control Division

. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring effective pest control strategies that comply with local regulations and environmental standards.

Possession of a valid Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC) certificate is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement integrated pest management (IPM) plans for agricultural and urban environments. Monitor pest populations and environmental conditions to identify risks and recommend solutions. Conduct site assessments and provide technical reports and recommendations. Ensure compliance with local and international pest control standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Utilize biological, mechanical, and chemical control methods where appropriate. Train and supervise pest control technicians and field staff on application methods and safety. Maintain detailed documentation of pest control operations, treatment results, and chemical usage. Liaise with regulatory bodies including ADQCC to ensure ongoing compliance and certification updates. Provide technical support for client consultations and proposals. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in agricultural engineering and pest control.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in pest control or related agricultural engineering roles.

Valid ADQCC certificate is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of integrated pest management techniques and relevant legislation. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in report writing and use of pest control monitoring tools/software. UAE driving license is an advantage.
