Assistant Accountant

Job Description

- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounting systems.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

- Record day-to-day financial transactions.

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.

- Process and verify invoices.

- Prepare and process expense reports.

- Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills.

- Generate and send out invoices.

- Follow up on overdue payments.

- Record and reconcile customer payments.

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

- Generate various financial reports for management.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

- Monitor budget variances and report discrepancies.

- Stay informed about relevant accounting regulations and ensure compliance.

- Assist in the preparation for audits.

- Analyze financial data and trends.

- Provide support in making financial decisions.

- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.

- Communicate financial information to various stakeholders.

- Utilize accounting software and other financial tools efficiently.

- Stay updated on changes and improvements in accounting technology.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial data.

- Investigate and resolve financial issues as they arise.

- Assist in process improvements and system implementations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
