Assistant Accountant

to support our lead accountant, Cathy, in managing hosting-related invoicing and payment tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Support:

Assist with issuing monthly invoices for ~300-350 clients who host mining equipment in our datacenters.

Double-Check Role:

Carefully review and verify all invoices prepared by the lead accountant to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Payment Tracking:

Monitor payment receipts, follow up on unpaid invoices, and ensure proper recording.

Inbox Management:

Respond to all accounting-related emails within 24 hours.

Reconciliation:

Cross-check invoices with internal hosting systems and customer contracts.

Reporting Assistance:

Help compile internal financial summaries and updates when required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory). Based in the UAE (Dubai preferred). Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Familiarity with accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and spreadsheets. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Able to manage tasks independently and maintain high standards under minimal supervision. Prior experience in double-entry bookkeeping or financial audit is a plus.

Work Structure:

Estimated workload: 1-2 hours per day. Flexible working hours (as long as tasks are completed within agreed timeframes). Option to work partially remotely after onboarding.
