The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting the finance team in managing financial transactions and records for the organization. This includes processing invoices, reconciling accounts, maintaining financial databases, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The Assistant will also provide general administrative support to the finance team and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Additionally, the Assistant will collaborate with other departments to ensure the accurate and timely flow of financial information. Responsibilities
Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain financial databases and update financial records.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial filings.
Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accurate flow of financial information.
Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices.
Support other finance-related activities as required.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate\'s or bachelor\'s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
Proficient in MS Office applications and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
