Job Summary: Looking for an Assistant Accountant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

Assist with the daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries as well as general ledger maintenance
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate as well as timely recording of financial transactions
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including physical and digital files
Help with the preparation of budgets and forecasts as well as monitor budgetary performance
Participate in inventory management activities
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly as well as annual financial statements and reports
Provide administrative support to the finance department
Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns
Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any related course
At least 2 years of experience in the accounting field required
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Must be familiar with the accounting software as well as MS Office Suite
Knowledge financial reporting and analysis required
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
