Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. basic accounting standards), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Help in the preparation of In Country Value Certification

Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Proven experience as an assistant accountant or other similar role (accounts related)
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required. Freshers who are highly motivated and willing to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
Basic knowledge of accounting software like ZohoBooks and QuickBooks Online
Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
