Roles and Responsibilities: · Perform duties of Area authority, Defeat Override and isolating Authority as per Company Work Management System (WMS). · Daily contacts with work associates and operations personnel to discuss pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, production plant operating activities and operating procedures. · Daily contacts with Projects and Operations Team personnel within oil and gas operation team up to Supervisor level for implementation, co-ordination and progress of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities · Coordination with work associates in asset up to Engineer level to discuss engineering requirements and co-ordinate work activities. · Works according to specialized technical standards, and ADNOC established procedures and HSE standards, using own initiative, judgment in adjusting plant conditions - particularly in emergency situations. · Supervision: Directs, control and supervises the activities of assigned personnel involved in operating the new facilities to be installed (WHTs and Riser Platform including starting up / shutting down of Production Platforms and pipelines. · Operation Activities: (i) Monitors and supervises through the Control Room facilities the operation of crude and gas production/treatment. (ii) Supervise the preparations of equipment for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as per established procedures. (iii) Troubleshoots minor operation problems and reports major problems and emergencies to Lead Site Interface (Operations) Engineer. · Ensures adherence of contracted work force on any given project Company's safety policy, standards and procedures. · Ensures safety equipment under custody are in proper operation condition. · Ensures that fire-fighting equipment's in his area authority are in good operable condition. · Ensure all subordinate personnel are given safety training and records are updated. · Ensures adherence to Environment Management System ISO-14001 and with regard to hazardous / domestic wastes segregation and handling procedure. · Promote near miss reporting. · Ensure Fire & Gas system in his area authority is working properly. · On daily basis conduct PTW/WMS (SAP) Audits, Toolbox Meeting and discuss procedures. Works according to specialized technical standards and ADNOC established procedures and HSE standards, ISO-14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards, using own initiative, judgment in adjusting plant conditions - particularly in emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements: 1) Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent. 2) Coordination / Communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language. 3) In depth knowledge in HSE skills 4) Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
