Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements. Key Responsibilities MAJOR ACTIVITIES: The Workflow Specialist works on the line, with approximately 20%-50% of time required to support the additional responsibilities listed below Maintain work areas and tools according to Visual Management and 5S Standards. Ensure 5S process is followed within cell, continuously improve work area and provide support to operators to ensure required action items occur Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) Facilitate a continuous improvement culture by following Plan, Do, Check, Act, and root cause corrective action methodology to eliminate waste. Support the implementation of continuous improvement actions (Kaizen); participate in Kaizen process and share knowledge Participate in root cause analysis Initiate escalation process Perform other related duties as assigned Maintain all required records timely and accurately. Follow all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations Read and understand Quality Control Plan Visually inspect parts and product for quality Detect and report faulty operation, defective tools and materials to department head or designate Initiate action to prevent/correct product/process non-conformity Demonstrate ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence Exhibit Honeywell Behaviors Basic Knowledge of software application, including Microsoft Office YOU MUST HAVE High School Diploma or GED Must be US Citizen due to contractual requirements 3+ years minimum Manufacturing and sautering experience in Space or Defense WE VALUE Able to train other operators on technical processes, as necessary Able to retrieve and read engineering and manufacturing documents Able to use required measurement tools Ensure safe operation, set-up, repair, preventive maintenance, and the regulation of machine cycles, to meet production metrics. Assist employees to maintain required production, complete repairs, preventive maintenance and changeovers, as necessary Collaborate with technical personnel for installation, repairs, adjustments and process improvements Participate in TPM, SMED maintenance and improvement Ability to communicate information clearly Must be able to thrive in a team environment #LI onsite Additional Information
