We are currently hiring for an experienced AS400 Technical Lead for a leading company in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in AS400 development and will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing and implementing AS400 solutions. The candidate should have strong technical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of AS400 architecture and development best practices.

Responsibilities: * Lead a team of developers in designing, coding, testing, and implementing AS400 solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on AS400 solutions.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to developers to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, specifications, and user manuals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AS400 applications and provide ongoing support to users.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in AS400 development and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
• Mentor and coach junior developers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of AS400 development.

Preferred Candidate: * Minimum 5 years of experience in AS400 development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Strong understanding of AS400 architecture and development best practices.
• Proficient in RPG, CL, and SQL programming languages.
• Experience with modernization of AS400 applications using tools such as Rational Developer for i (RDi) and WebSphere.
• Experience with AS400 integration technologies, such as MQ Series and Web Services.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
