Job Summary:

A well-established printing press in Sharjah/Ajman is seeking a skilled Artwork Finalizer and Packaging Designer with hands-on experience in rigid box packaging, keyline development, dieline creation, and CTP plate artwork preparation. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in printing press operations and be currently residing and working in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and finalize packaging artwork for rigid boxes and soft boxes. Develop accurate dielines and keylines for custom packaging, ensuring precise fit and structure. Prepare artwork for CTP (Computer-to-Plate) processing. Ensure print-ready artwork files are accurate and aligned with press requirements. Collaborate with production and prepress teams to resolve technical issues related to print files. Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with client specifications. Modify or recreate artwork files as per client feedback or press requirements. Maintain updated file libraries and backup of final artwork and dielines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a printing press in the UAE (mandatory). Expertise in rigid and soft box packaging design. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is a plus. Strong understanding of dieline structures, cutting guides, bleeds, and folding patterns. Hands-on experience in preparing artwork for CTP plates. Ability to troubleshoot artwork issues related to printing and packaging. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Must be currently based in the UAE and available for immediate or short notice joining.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with luxury or high-end packaging for cosmetic, confectionery, or gift industries.

Familiarity with packaging materials and printing substrates.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
