Role Description

We are seeking a skilled

Art/Picture Framer

to join our production team. The ideal candidate has strong craftsmanship, exceptional precision, and an eye for presentation. You will be responsible for producing high-quality custom frames, ensuring each artwork, print, and photograph is beautifully finished, well-protected, and ready for delivery or installation.

This is a hands-on role that involves working with framing tools, materials, machinery, and occasionally assisting with vinyl applications and vehicle branding projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesFraming Production

Measure, cut, and assemble frames, mounts, and backing materials with high accuracy Select framing styles, finishes, materials, and glazing that complement and protect artworks Operate framing machinery including cutting tools, stretching equipment, and mounting presses

Quality Control & Artwork Handling

Inspect artworks, prints, and materials to ensure professional-quality results Handle, package, and install framed artworks safely for delivery to clients Maintain a clean, organised workshop with well-managed tools and materials

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with the design and production teams to meet specifications, deadlines, and installation requirements Provide technical framing advice to support sales, project teams, or customer service Assist with vehicle wrapping: surface prep, vinyl application, and installation of branded graphics

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as a framer in an art studio, gallery, print shop, or production environment Strong craftsmanship with excellent aesthetic judgement and precision cutting skills Confident using framing tools (mat cutters, mitre saws, mounting presses, stretching equipment) Ability to read measurements and work with various materials and finishes Experience in vinyl installation or vehicle wrapping is highly desirable Strong communication and teamwork skills Good time-management and ability to work under deadlines Physically able to lift and handle large frames and materials safely
