We are seeking a talented and passionate Visual Artist with expertise in drawing anime characters to join our team as an Instructor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic background, exceptional skills in anime character illustration, and a desire to share their knowledge through teaching. This role involves both creating captivating visual artwork and instructing individuals in the techniques and principles of anime character design.

Pottery Workshop Instructor

Develop and plan engaging pottery workshops for various skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.

Prepare lesson plans, including instructional materials, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

Teach pottery techniques such as wheel throwing, hand-building, and glazing, adapting instruction to meet the needs of participants.

Proven experience as a pottery artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in various techniques.

Previous experience teaching or instructing pottery is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple classes and workshops.

Passion for pottery and a commitment to helping others develop their artistic skills.

Knowledge of studio equipment and safety practices.

A degree or formal training in ceramics, fine arts, or a related field is preferred.

Jesmonite Workshop Instructor

Develop and plan engaging Jesmonite workshops for different skill levels, including beginners, intermediates, and advanced participants.

Create detailed lesson plans and prepare instructional materials, including demonstrations, hands-on activities, and project guides.

Teach Jesmonite techniques such as mixing, casting, molding, finishing, and application for both decorative and functional pieces.

Proven experience working with Jesmonite, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of projects and techniques.

Previous experience teaching or instructing workshops is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple classes and workshops.

Passion for Jesmonite and a commitment to helping others develop their skills and creativity.

Knowledge of studio equipment, safety practices, and proper handling of Jesmonite materials.

A degree or formal training in art, design, or a related field is preferred.

Resin Workshop Instructor

Develop and plan engaging resin workshops for various skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.

Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials, including demonstrations, hands-on activities, and project guidelines.

Teach resin techniques such as mixing, pouring, casting, coloring, and finishing, adapting instruction to the needs of participants.

Proven experience working with resin, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of resin projects and techniques.

Previous experience teaching or instructing workshops is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire participants.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple classes and workshops.

Passion for resin art and a commitment to helping others develop their skills and creativity.

Knowledge of studio equipment, safety practices, and proper handling of resin materials.

A degree or formal training in art, design, or a related field is preferred

Art and Craft Integration:

Incorporate art and craft elements into the store's decor and customer experience. Display and sell original art and craft products within the store. Collaborate with other artists and crafters to feature their work and create a vibrant, creative atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

1. Anime Character Drawing Instruction:

- Develop and conduct engaging and comprehensive classes on drawing anime characters.

- Instruct individuals in fundamental principles, techniques, and styles of anime character design.

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance, fostering their artistic growth.

2. Curriculum Development:

- Create and update course materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

- Design lesson plans that cover various aspects of anime character drawing, from basic to advanced levels.

3. Visual Artwork Creation:

- Produce high-quality anime character illustrations that demonstrate creativity and skill.

- Utilize digital art tools and techniques to enhance the visual experience.

4. Workspace Organization:

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, setting an example for organizational skills.

- Ensure that artist tools and materials are properly organized and readily accessible.

5. Portfolio Reviews:

- Assist individuals in building and refining their portfolios for potential career opportunities.

- Conduct portfolio reviews and provide insights for improvement.

6. Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other instructors and artists to enhance the overall quality of the program.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the arts curriculum.

7. Customer Service:

- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the satisfaction of participants.

Qualifications

:

1. Artistic Skills:

- Proficient in drawing anime characters with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill.

- Extensive knowledge of various anime styles and trends.

2. Digital Art Proficiency:

- Strong proficiency in digital art tools and software for creating anime character illustrations.

- Ability to teach and guide individuals in the use of digital art techniques.

3. Teaching Experience:

- Proven experience as a visual arts instructor, preferably in anime character drawing.

- Ability to effectively communicate and transfer artistic knowledge to participants.

4. Adaptability:

- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to different skill levels and learning styles.

Compensation:

Salary for this position will be decided upon interview and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
