Art Teacher (FS)

at our esteemed institution,

Prime National Schools - Scholar's International Language School

. This position focuses on delivering a creative and engaging art curriculum for Foundation Stage students, fostering a love for art and creativity in our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver age-appropriate art lessons that cater to the developmental needs of Foundation Stage students. Create a nurturing and inspiring classroom environment where children can freely express themselves through various art forms. Incorporate stories, themes, and sensory experiences into art projects to enhance children's learning and engagement. Support the development of fine motor skills through hands-on art activities. Assess and document students' artistic progress and provide feedback to parents and colleagues. Organize art displays and exhibitions that celebrate students' creativity and achievements. Work collaboratively with other Foundation Stage teachers to integrate art into the broader curriculum. Promote a positive attitude towards arts education and encourage creativity both in and out of the classroom.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Art Education, or a related field. A valid teaching certification is a plus. Experience teaching art to young children, particularly in a Foundation Stage setting. Strong understanding of childhood development and how art can enhance learning. Creative, energetic, and patient in working with young learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment. Commitment to the holistic development of children through the arts.
