Job Description

Job Summary:



Perform welding operations on marine vessels, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.



Key Responsibilities:



Welding Operations:



1. Weld aluminum, and other marine-grade materials.



2. Use various welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW).



3. Perform flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead welding.



4. Weld pipes, plates, and other components.



Quality Control:



1. Inspect welds for defects and imperfections.



2. Ensure standards.



Safety and Compliance:



1. Follow safety protocols and procedures.



2. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE).



Maintenance and Repair:



1. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.



2. Assist in fabrciation.



Collaboration and Communication:



1. Work with engineers, fitters, and other trades.



2. Understand welding specifications.



3. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.



Requirements:



1. High school diploma or equivalent.



2. Completion of a welding apprenticeship or program.



3. 2+ years of welding experience.



4. Welding certification.



5. Physical stamina to lift, bend, and work in confined spaces.



Skills and Qualifications:



1. Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.



2. Knowledge of materials.



3. Attention to detail and quality focus.



4. Communication and teamwork skills.



Working Conditions:



1. Workshop & Site environment.



2. Exposure to welding fumes, heat, and noise.



3. Varied shifts, including overtime.



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
