Area Sales Manager

You will be working as Sales Specialist for Electrification business area, Installation Products division based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for creating demand, mapping opportunities, and finalizing orders for earthing, lightning protection and surge protection systems working with consultants and engineering of customers within the selected verticals segment.

Marketing & Sales Manager, ELIP, IMEA

Your responsibilities

• Building business relationships, proactively supporting partners and internal and external customers
• Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and technical knowledge of the customer needs
• Preparing and executing sales plans and bids. Identifying and developing new market opportunities in the assigned geographical area and segments
• Generating demand for ABB installation products through a constant and tailored approach towards consultants, OEMs, and contractors
• Developing the business through the channel partners network identifying qualified opportunities and converting them into sustainable business
• Collaborating with the sales team of the other ABB divisions to maximize the common business opportunities
• Collaborating with the product marketing team to take into the market the right value proposition bringing back relevant market information
• Keeping CRM and all relevant reporting updated and report back to the Marketing & Sales Manager.
• Providing accurate Demand Order and Revenue forecasts
• In depth knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM & Navisworks knowledge, reading and understanding architectural layouts, sections, and elevations.

Your background

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in earthing, lightning protection, and surge protection with excellent technical and sales knowledge in gulf countries
• Should be comfortable using a CRM system
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
• Sound knowledge of the earthing, lightning, and surge protection system
• Should be flexible to travel when needed
