Our client is a well-established retailer with a growing stores and e-commerce presence. As part of their expansion, we are recruiting a UAE experienced Retail Stores Operations Manager to lead the Dubai outlets. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing up to 10 retail stores operations across the UAE to identify new customer growth opportunities to build the brand\xe2\x80\x99s presence in the GCC region and ensure that each store meets its individual sales targets. Role Summary Develop retail strategies to increase customer footfall and spend. Excellence in retail performance \xe2\x80\x93 set targets by customer segments, increase product mix and stock availability, improve sales margin. Develop and implement instore campaigns for new product launches, promotions and seasonal items. Provide analysis for pricing strategies, promotions and seasonal sales. Develop a robust customer journey and implement loyalty programs. Build a strong brand with visual merchandising and Point of Sale collateral and engaging online content. Monitor and direct daily retail operations performance to ensure that sales targets are met and implement remedial plans for underperforming stores and monitor sales improvement. Conduct regular market, competitor and marketing ROI analysis to provide a transparent overview of the market conditions. Inventory oversight and initiate clearance, seasonal and end of season sales to reduce aged and excess stock. Develop and implement retail SOPs to improve store operations efficiency and process optimization; ensure the adoption and adherence of the SOPs. Set store sales and manpower budgets; manage and control operational expenses (OPEX) in line with the retail budget. Lead monthly and annual inventory counts and audits for loss prevention and eliminate the risk of pilferage; investigate stock discrepancies. Recruit, onboard and train new retail sales associates, assistant store managers and store managers; and ensure all HR policies and procedures are adhered to. Develop and implement retail training programs to deliver an enhanced customer experience consistently across all retail stores. Continuous improvement through developing and executing retail processes in close collaboration with sales, marketing, e-Commerce, finance and warehouse distribution. Mandatory Skills & Experience 8 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 multi-store retail stores operations management with a minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 similar experience gained in the UAE. UAE multi-store retail stores operations experience in children\xe2\x80\x99s and novelty consumer goods is a strong advantage. Strong retail operations experience focusing on customers, employees, products, processes and profit. Commercial and financial acumen to analyze store-wise weekly and monthly revenue and SKU sales reports; retail sales analysis of target vs revenue to improve customer footfall and sales top line. In-depth analysis experience to assess retail stores performance \xe2\x80\x93 sales and revenue, marketing activities, employee training. Strong visual merchandising experience in store and window displays. Strong experience in building high performance retail teams to develop succession pipelines for promotions and internal transfers. Experience in developing and delivering retail training programs to improve sales techniques, product knowledge and brand awareness. UAE driving license is mandatory.
