Job Title: Architectural Supervisor
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Develop a scheduled program for the commencement and completion of all Architectural works to tie in with the master schedule
• Coordinate, monitor and control Architectural sub-contractor\'s progress and quality of
• works
• Coordinate sub-contractor\'s work so that there are no conflicts amongst sub-contractors
• Delegate work to the general workers/chargehand and assign them duties
• Liaise with suppliers on the products needed for the projects and the delivery schedule
• Ensure all architectural queries and discrepancies are put up and resolved in writing via the issue of \xe2\x80\x9cRequest For Information / Technical Query\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cConfirmation of Verbal Instructions
• Study architectural drawings/structural drawings and compare layout plan with detailing a plan to avoid mistakes and inconsistency of level, alignment, direction or standard of finishes
• Perform night duties to supervise concreting will be on a rotational basis
• Responsible for overseeing the workers in carrying out the construction works as per the approved safe work procedures/practices or safety instructions, In-house Safety Rules and Regulations, P.E design drawings, etc
• Ensure safety requirements were implemented before making the application of a Permit to Work from the project manager and take instructions on appropriate rectification and corrective actions, if any, for safety non-conformances
• Exercise all care in handling and storage of incoming materials to prevent damage or deterioration before use
• Arrange for Architectural trade demonstrations for consultant\xe2\x80\x99s approvals
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and goods to the site
• Arrange for testing of Architectural materials
• Liaise with consultants in solving technical and detailing issues of Architectural works
• Attend project coordination meetings
• Report to Project Manager the progress of Architectural works
• Assist Project Manager in the compilation of handing over documents, including As-built drawings
• Supervise, organize and plan activities to ensure the smooth fabrication and construction of structures within the stipulated schedule.
• Review technical drawings and advise engineering of any discrepancies before the commencement of fabrication works.
• Ensure that manpower is effectively deployed to deliver the products timely.
• Resolve any technical problems or issues faced at the work site
• Study and evaluate the work sequences and methods of the Department and explore new ideas to improve quality and productively
• Responsible for preparation of red line markups to Engineering for AS BUILTS submission to clients
• Liaise with client\'s representatives and coordinate with other department supervisors to effectively coordinate all works.
• Ensure that Safety, Health and Environmental operating procedures are followed and counsel staff about compliance as necessary
• Implement the company\xe2\x80\x99s safety policy and safety management system and to enforce legislated safety requirements and the company\xe2\x80\x99s safety rules and regulations at the site
