Job Description

One of Dubai\xe2\x80\x99s leading Engineering consultancy, architecture and environmental companies with a diversified business in the building industry is looking to hire \xe2\x80\x9cArchitectural / Finishing Inspector\xe2\x80\x9d Responsibilities (but not limited):
  • Inspecting site conditions before the start of construction activities. Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works. Checking for obstructions. Photograph and document the condition of an existing property that the work might damage.
  • Review of drawing related to ID works and inspection on site.
  • Reviewing materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment and report findings.
  • Checking that materials delivered to site are appropriately stored and reporting discrepancies.
  • Inspecting the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings and submittals.
  • Preparing daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc. Performing all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
  • Observing site safety practices and the progress of the work. Reporting any concerns.
  • Assisting with the inspection of completed works. Helping prepare punch lists. Monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the works.
  • Assist in the review of Shop drawing and Material submittal related to Architectural and ID works.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Communicate directly with the contractors and Client to coordinate activities on routine matters.
Requirements : 1. Candidate should be Architecture or Architectural Engineering graduate with minimum 5-7 years of working Experience responsible for Site supervisions, Work Progress, Execution, Quality Checks and Records for High Rise Towers and Luxury Villas. 2. Experience of working with local authorities to ensure all design submittals comply with regulations. 3. Candidate willing to join on immediate basis and with minimum 5-7 years of experience in UAE shall be preferred. 4. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 5. Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems and trade practices is required.
