Job Profile: Architectural Designer-Draftsman

Architectural designer with technical and hands-on experience in creating 2D design and detail drawings for Offshore Technical Buildings and installations. Candidate should be able to prepare complete technical drawings from Architect's sketches with minor supervision. Experience in 3D modelling and rendering is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop architectural layouts and detail design drawings of high technical quality and consistent presentation, ensuring clarity and ease of construction Familiarize with Project scope of work, specifications, schedule and inter-discipline requirements, including identifying potential concerns and taking initiatives to address them Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with Project documents and procedures. Review other discipline drawings and incorporate applicable details in architectural drawings Review Vendor/supplier drawings and incorporate in detail design drawings Visit construction sites to perform measurements, redline mark-ups and as-built drawings Develop 3D models, renderings and walkthrough presentations Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) / Bill of Materials from drawings Reports To: Discipline Engineer and Lead Engineer Liase With: Other Discipline Designers

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design 5 years minimum experience with EPC Contractor, Consultant or Interior Design firm. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc... Knowledge in 3D Modelling and Rendering Software (3DS Max, Sketch up, etc...) Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop editing. Working knowledge of English language, both oral and written.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
