Architectural Draughtsman
Job Description
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and schedules using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software. Interpret and develop architectural design intent into buildable construction drawings for LNG facility upgrades and rejuvenation. Incorporate LNG-specific safety, zoning, and operational requirements (e.g., hazardous area classifications, blast zones, cryogenic material tolerances) into all architectural plans. Assist in developing architectural drawing packages, including GA (General Arrangement) drawings and IFC (Issued for Construction) documents. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and process engineering teams to ensure design compatibility and clash-free integration. Update existing as-built drawings based on site surveys and new design inputs. Ensure compliance with ADNOC, Shell DEP, or other relevant client standards and international codes (API, NFPA, ISO). Support site engineering and construction teams during project execution, including resolving design conflicts. Maintain a proper document control system in line with project procedures. Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field. Minimum
5-8 years
experience as an architectural draftsman, preferably in oil & gas, LNG, or petrochemical sectors. Proven experience working onLNG plants, industrial rejuvenation, or brownfield projects
is a strong advantage. Proficiency inAutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiar withBIM standards
, 3D modeling, and coordination techniques. Knowledge ofFIDIC
, ADNOC standards, or similar project delivery frameworks is a plus.Job Type: Full-time
