Job Summary

The Architectural Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with project requirements, design intent, and applicable standards. The role supports architects, engineers, and project teams throughout the design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and detailed shop drawings Prepare details production drawings specially for joinery works, kiosks, exhibition and promotional stands. Develop drawings based on design concepts, specifications, and site conditions Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, and other disciplines Revise drawings based on comments from consultants, clients, and authorities Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and project requirements Maintain organized drawing registers and document control Assist in material take-offs and basic quantity calculations when required Support site teams by providing clarifications and updated drawings
Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field 2-5 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is an advantage) Strong understanding of architectural detailing and construction methods Ability to read and interpret architectural and coordination drawings Good communication and teamwork skills High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Experience

Experience in fit-out, retail, commercial, or residential projects Familiarity with authority submission requirements and approvals
