Key Responsibilities:
Prepare architectural drawings and shop drawings with a focus on
structural layouts and MEP coordination
Modify and update drawings as per design changes and site conditions
Ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and UAE standards
Coordinate with structural and MEP engineers to incorporate technical requirements
Prepare and organize drawing sets for submission to local authorities (DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc.)
Maintain a library of standard details and drawing templates
Review consultant and contractor drawings for accuracy and completeness
Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and check for design execution
Assist the design team in translating conceptual sketches into technical drawings
Requirements:
Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
4-6 years of experience
in architectural drafting, with a strong portfolio of work
Proficient in
AutoCAD
; experience with
Revit
,
Navisworks
, or
BIM software
is a plus
Sound knowledge of
structural systems
, MEP layouts, and coordination requirements
Familiarity with
UAE building codes
, authority regulations, and submission procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
