Key Responsibilities

Develop innovative concept designs that align with client requirements and project scope.

Produce 2D layouts, detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and presentations for client approvals.

Prepare and coordinate shop drawings and as-built drawings in line with project needs.

Manage authority approval drawings (DCD, DM, DDA, Concordia, Trakhees, etc.) and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.

Coordinate with Project Managers, QS, and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.

Prepare material boards, finishes schedules, and FF&E selections for client presentations and approvals.

Conduct site visits to monitor execution and resolve design-related issues.

Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to source and specify materials and finishes.

Take full ownership of the design process, from initial briefing to project handover.

Maintain updated knowledge of design trends, materials, and best practices in the UAE fit-out market.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.

5+ years of proven experience as an Interior Designer in the UAE (fit-out industry).

Strong portfolio showcasing concept development, 2D/3D work, and completed fit-out projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and other design tools.

Experience in preparing authority drawings and approvals (DCD, DM, etc.).

Strong technical knowledge of fit-out details, joinery, and material applications.

Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

Ability to work independently, take ownership, and lead the full design cycle.
