What You Will Do:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with targeted architects to achieve annual goals.
Manage the opportunity process through effective CRM management and team communication.
Become Adviser to Architects on Allegion solutions for specification, Codes & Standards, Introduce new Allegion offerings to Architects to achieve project-specific needs.
Support architects as a business partner to maximize Allegion share through coordination, demand creation, and strategy sessions.
Ability to do presentations, lunch and learning secession, and lobby with decision-makers.
Maintain a strategic understanding of market conditions and be able to adapt to and maintain a competitive advantage.
Organize training sessions for the stakeholders for Allegion innovative solutions.
Develop relations with site architect once the Allegion specified project is at the site and introduce the commercial team and drive to win the project.
Communicate strategic project information with the commercial team in their relevant region to assist in the formation of a project strategy.
Collaborate closely with the local project sales team on specification projects and market meetings.
Responsible for developing a growth strategy with core/existing architectural firms, resulting in topline growth year on year.
Maintain excellent industry/territory knowledge by reviewing and understanding market data of the competitive activity. Adapt to change in the marketplace.
Responsible for relationships with architecture firm’s project managers.
Provide technical specifications for the architectural community, including code compliance for new construction projects.
Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Good Knowledge in the specification field in the region.
Good relationship with architectural firms.
Strong presentation skills are a necessity
Ability to build strong trustable relationships with stakeholders.
Degree in architectural engineering and MBA would be preferred
DHI/GAI qualifications, preferably AHC, DHC, GAI.
6+ years of sales experience in the industry
Knowledge of the door hardware industry is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical mindset to provide strategic solutions for resolution.
Ability to travel within assigned territory (includes overnight travel when necessary)
