Architectural Assistant
Job type: Full-Time (40 Hours a Week)

Maplin Studio is an architectural arm of Maplin Engineering that provides state-of-art concept, planning, design, structure engineering, multidisciplinary consulting, project management, and construction management services to clients in the UK domestic and commercial sector.

Task and Responsibilities:

The Architectural Assistant shall be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Communicating with clients and contractors to ensure that all parties are on the same page throughout the project Taking measurements and creating drawings of existing structures and spaces Creating computer models of designs by inputting data into 3D modeling software programs Drafting initial building plans that include floor plans, elevations, and sections Making calculations for building materials based on design requirements and available budgets Organizing files and documents related to the project including blueprints, contracts, design drawings, and specifications Preparing detailed sketches of proposed designs to present to clients Suggesting changes to designs based on client feedback or procedural requirements such as building codes

Role Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification is recommended, but a proven background in building sector is preferable. Must have proven experience as an Architectural Assistant Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch Up, 3-D programs and other modeling software. Knowledge of building surveying, current planning and UK building regulations. Ability to work under own initiative. Ability to work a high degree of accuracy. Excellent time management and presentation skills.

Note:

After a 3-month probationary period, there will be an assessment determining potential permanent employment for the position.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
