: As a Modification Works Specialist (Architect) at [Your Company Name], you will take on a pivotal role in our modification and renovation projects. You will be responsible for overseeing a diverse array of modification works, from structural changes to interior (or public area) design enhancements. Your architectural expertise will be instrumental in creating transformative and functional spaces across Dubai. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess existing spaces to determine their suitability for modification and renovation, with a specific focus on inclusivity for people of determination (as per DUDC standards).
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific project requirements and design preferences, ensuring that accessibility and usability for all are top priorities.
- Develop comprehensive modification plans, including architectural drawings, space layouts, and design concepts that prioritize inclusivity.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes, with a particular emphasis on accessibility standards.
- Oversee the execution of modification projects, managing budgets, timelines, and quality control, all while upholding the highest standards of accessibility.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery that aligns with inclusive design principles.
- Proactively identify and resolve challenges that may arise during modification works, always keeping the needs of people of determination in focus.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in managing modification and renovation projects, preferably in Dubai or the UAE, with a demonstrated commitment to inclusivity for people of determination.
- Proficiency in architectural design software and drafting tools.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting procedures, especially in relation to accessibility standards.
- Exceptional project management skills, including budget and timeline management.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with a deep understanding of the unique needs of people of determination.
- Familiarity with accessibility enhancements is a plus.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
