Acts as an expert for infrastructure teams in the plan, design, and delivery of IT solutions

Advocate and define cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including internal and external platforms, tools, and systems

Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)

Demonstrate knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes

Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for MAGNATI cloud end-to-end architecture, including Azure and future providers, networking, provisioning, and management

Defines and communicates a shared technical and architectural vision (including infra)

Technical expertise in multiple disciplines within IT Infrastructure including networking, virtualization, cloud computing, application security & databases

Contributes to the architectural design of new solutions principles, concepts, and best practices for multi-account strategies, cost management strategies, landing zones and cloud network connectivity.

Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.

Strong track record of implementing Azure services in a variety of distributed computing environments

Leading highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments

Large-scale migration experience Data Center to Data Center and/or Data Center to Cloud

Infrastructure automation through tools like ARM, Terraform etc

Configuration management using CloudFormation, Chef & Puppet

Do Technical evaluation and selection process for adoption of innovative technologies to improve business performance, reduce risk, or optimize cost

Provides architecture design and solutions for managing cloud security, including enforcement of security policies, ability to visualize and manage security compliance and risk, ability to classify and protect cloud data, ability to manage cloud-based identity and access, and ability to leverage cloud native technology.

Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

Minimum 15-20 years overall experience in IT with the hands-on infra-architecture in the cloud

Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.

Must have experience with: O365, Azure, Azure Stack, Azure AD

Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.

Must have implementation experience of VDIs & datacenter

Must have experience in design of security controls and product best fit analysis to ensure end-to-end security covering different areas of infrastructure security architecture:

Layered Security

Zoning

Integration aspect

API Security

Endpoint Security

Data Security

Compliance and regulations

Industry Security Certifications like CCIE, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CSRIC, TOGAF, etc., are preferred

Advanced knowledge on

Operating Systems (Linux / Windows)

Web & Application Servers (Apache / IIS / Tomcat)

Database (SQL / NoSQL)

Messaging (Kafka / Kinesis / MQ)

Monitoring (Prometheus, OEM, Open Metrics)

Cloud technologies (Azure, VMware)

Networking (TCP/IP, SDN)

Automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, SCCM)

Experience with Multi-vendor firewalls and other security technologies (Firewalls, Web Proxy, Email Gateway, Endpoint Security etc)

Solid cloud networking knowledge, VPCs, Security Groups, Load Balancers

Understanding of compliance regulatory requirements like ISO, PCI DSS, NESA, etc.

Experience as a team lead preferred

Experience in a Banking/Payments or Financial domain is a plus

Experience in migrating deployments from on-premises data center to cloud is preferred
