Job Description

The Architect Engineer will play a crucial role in providing architectural design expertise and technical support for building projects. They will collaborate with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of architectural designs and solutions. The Architect Engineer will also be involved in project management activities and may lead a team of architects and designers. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Design: Develop innovative and functional architectural design concepts, plans, and drawings for building projects, incorporating client requirements, site conditions, and regulatory standards. Project Management: Coordinate and manage architectural design activities for multiple projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, address design-related queries, and ensure client satisfaction. Code Compliance: Ensure that architectural designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility standards, and other applicable regulations. Material and Product Selection: Research, evaluate, and recommend suitable materials, finishes, and construction systems, considering factors such as durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. Quality Control: Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, verify adherence to design specifications, and provide technical guidance to contractors. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Professional Architectural License or equivalent certification.
