Job Summary:
Global Prefab General Contracting LLC is hiring skilled
Arc Welders
to join our prefab and modular fabrication team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in
arc welding (SMAW/MIG)
,
steel fabrication
, and
modular structure assembly
. You will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling steel components for prefabricated units according to technical drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
arc welding (SMAW and MIG)
on carbon and mild steel materials.
Fabricate and assemble
modular frames, panels, and prefab structures
.
Read and interpret
engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials using fabrication tools and machines.
Ensure welds meet
project quality, strength, and safety standards
.
Conduct
visual inspections
and finishing of completed welds.
Follow all
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
policies.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience
in
arc welding
(SMAW/MIG).
Hands-on experience in
prefab or modular fabrication
.
Ability to read and understand
technical drawings and layouts
.
Knowledge of
welding standards, tools, and safety procedures
.
Physically fit and able to handle workshop and site work.
Welding certification
preferred.
Must be based in or willing to relocate to the
UAE
.
