Responsibilities: Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. Maintain a deep knowledge of the products offered, including gourmet food items and butcher selections, to assist customers effectively. Handle escalated customer issues with diplomacy and tact, aiming for swift resolution. Team Leadership and Training: Lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular training sessions to educate staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards. Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that all team members understand their responsibilities and perform them efficiently. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations on the retail floor, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained. Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility and drive sales. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Sales and Performance Management: Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction. Encourage upselling and cross-selling techniques among staff to maximize revenue. Requirements: Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English (additional languages are a plus). Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the food or hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. Knowledge of gourmet food products and butcher operations is advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
