Chinese School Dubai is the first overseas Chinese school commissioned by the Chinese Ministry of Education and led by Hangzhou No. 2 High School. The school opened in September 2020 and received an inspection by the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority of Dubai) in March 2023. It was the only school in the batch awarded the "GOOD" rating. Situated at 58C, Street, Mirdif, Dubai, UAE, the school is gearing up for the academic year 2024 with plans to bolster its workforce. In line with operational requirements, it intends to enlist a total of 5 foreign educators, teaching assistants, and administrative staff. We are looking for a number of outstanding and experienced Teachers for Primary and Secondary to join our qualified team from 20th, August, 2024. As a teacher, you will be responsible for cultivating the student\'s interest in education and development. Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils, and by their organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment. Your responsibilities will also include developing and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude. Assess and record progress and prepare pupils for examinations. By linking pupils\' knowledge to earlier learning and developing ways to encourage it further, and challenging and inspiring pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding. Candidate Requirements The successful candidate will have:

• Subject related degree and PGCE is preferred
• Arabic Teaching assistant is required to be Chinese speakers or hold at least HSK5
• Proven experience of teaching in the subject you apply for
• The ability to share your outstanding practice
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
• Having KHDA Inspection experiences is preferred
• A commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students within their care. Holding a diploma/certificate in Inclusion education will be considered first.
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
• Participate in any relevant meetings/professional development opportunities at the school, which relate to the learners, curriculum or organization of the school including pastoral arrangements and assemblies.
• Work as a team member and identify opportunities for working with colleagues and sharing the development of effective practice with them.
• Contribute to the selection and professional development of other teachers and support staff including the induction and assessment of new teachers, teachers serving induction periods and where appropriate threshold assessments.
• Ensure that colleagues working with you are appropriately involved in supporting learning and understand the roles they are expected to fulfill.
• Take part as required in the review, development and management of the activities relating to the curriculum, organization and pastoral functions of the school.
• Cover for absent colleagues within the remit of the current teachers\xe2\x80\x99 manual.
