Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for adult patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans integrating pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy approaches
• Manage psychiatric medications and monitor clinical progress and treatment response
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, and primary healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic medical record systems
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and recovery strategies
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, ethical guidelines, and hospital governance protocols

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree with recognized specialization in Psychiatry
• Consultant-level certification such as UK CCT, Arab Board, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in adult psychiatry
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written
• DHA eligibility or readiness to obtain Dubai licensure
• Strong understanding of cultural dynamics within Middle Eastern communities
• Excellent diagnostic, communication, and therapeutic skills
