Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, bake, and present various types of traditional Arabic breads, pastries, and sweets.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and quality standards.
Operate and maintain bakery ovens and related equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure proper fermentation, proofing, and baking times for all baked goods.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the baking area in accordance with food safety standards.
Monitor ingredient stock levels and inform management when restocking is required.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and smooth workflow.
Maintain consistency in product taste, texture, and presentation.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience as a baker specializing in Arabic or Middle Eastern breads and pastries.
Strong knowledge of dough preparation, proofing, and baking techniques.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and passion for authentic Arabic cuisine.
Preferably with UAE experience.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Formal training or certification in bakery or culinary arts is an advantage.
