We are seeking an experienced Arabic Chef specializing in
Levantine cuisine
to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of traditional Levantine dishes and cooking techniques, with a strong passion for delivering authentic flavors and high-quality dishes. This role requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present authentic Levantine dishes, including but not limited to hummus, kibbeh, tabbouleh, manakeesh, grilled meats, and mezzes.
Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and update the Levantine menu.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage inventory, order ingredients, and ensure cost-effective kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
Monitor portion control and minimize food waste.
Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and customer preferences within Arabic and Levantine cuisines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a chef specializing in
Levantine or Arabic cuisine
(minimum 3-5 years).
Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Levantine cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditional recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills.
Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
