Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide range of traditional Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes (e.g., kebabs, mandi, hummus, tabbouleh, shawarma, biryani, etc.)
Develop and update Arabic menu offerings in line with seasonal and customer preferences
Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet the restaurant's standards
Maintain hygiene and safety standards in accordance with local regulations
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff as needed
Manage inventory and order ingredients specific to Arabic cuisine
Monitor food cost and minimize waste
Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food delivery
Participate in menu tastings, events, and customer feedback sessions
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Arabic or Middle Eastern Chef (3-5 years preferred)
In-depth knowledge of Arabic spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
Ability to prepare meals for large groups while maintaining high quality
Certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent (preferred)
Familiarity with food safety and kitchen sanitation guidelines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Creativity and passion for Arabic cuisine
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills (Arabic and/or English preferred)
