We are seeking a skilled Arabic Bread Expert to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing traditional Arabic bread (such as pita, khubz, or markouk), ensuring authentic flavor, texture, and presentation. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining quality standards and innovating traditional recipes to meet modern tastes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake authentic Arabic bread according to traditional recipes and standards.
Maintain high-quality production standards, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
Manage the bread-making process from dough preparation to baking and packaging.
Ensure all bakery equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and place orders as needed.
Keep the bakery environment clean and hygienic, adhering to food safety regulations.
Train and supervise junior bakers or kitchen staff in bread-making techniques.
Innovate and experiment with new recipes or variations while preserving traditional authenticity.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new bread-based products or menu items.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a baker specializing in Arabic bread or Middle Eastern baked goods.
Deep understanding of traditional Arabic bread recipes, techniques, and cultural significance.
Knowledge of bakery equipment and safety standards.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Relevant culinary certifications or training is a plus.
