In Grades 9 and 10, our students begin the High School Diploma and we aim to offer two pathways in Grades 11 and 12: the High School Diploma and the IB Diploma. About the role The Languages Department teach French, Spanish and Arabic B to non-native speakers and align with the ACTFL standards. We are looking to appoint an Arabic B specialist, who:

• is an outstanding practitioner
• has experience of teaching Arabic B from Grades 6 to 12 (Years 7 \xe2\x80\x93 13),
• is passionate about teaching and learning with a commitment to continuous improvement
• will be committed to the vision of igniting passion, purpose and potential in our students
• can contribute to the development of the The Languages Department, offering creative opportunities to enrich the learning experience of students at THIS
• can adapt the curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress
• assesses and records student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement
• has excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, parents, and school leaders
• maintains high levels of behaviour among students, while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines
• is passionate about learning beyond the curriculum
