Key Responsibilities

Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and material requirements Plan and execute procurement activities for civil, architectural, and MEP works Source, evaluate, and select local and international suppliers and subcontractors Prepare RFQs, analyze technical and commercial offers, and prepare comparison sheets Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts Issue purchase orders and follow up deliveries to construction sites Coordinate with engineering, site, planning, and QA/QC teams Ensure materials comply with project specifications, local standards, and client requirements Maintain procurement records, reports, and supplier databases Support cost control, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field Minimum

5-7 years

experience as a Procurement Engineer in construction projects Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontracting Experience in bid evaluation (technical & commercial) Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors Ability to prepare, review, and administer purchase orders and subcontracts Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
