Who you are
We are currently seeking a motivated Application Engineer to join our sales Department and contribute to our continued success. This position is essential for ensuring operational efficiency and delivering excellent service to our clients.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of valve and technical specifications related to client projects.
Proficient in managing databases and technical documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience (2 years) in application engineering or sales coordination, preferably in the mechanical products sector.
Description
In this role, you will play a vital role in sales coordination, managing processes from receipt of inquiries to the submission of commercial offers and technical submittals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Quotations:
o Prepare detailed and accurate quotations based on specifications provided by sales engineers.
o Generate comprehensive analytical reports related to prepared quotations for management review.
o Organize and maintain a systematic filing system for all quotations and associated documentation.
o Update and manage the quotations database, ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained.
o Provide insightful assistance to sales engineers regarding item specifications and pricing.
o Serve as the primary contact for customers in the absence of sales engineers, addressing inquiries as needed.
o Manage incoming inquiries via telephone, providing necessary information to prospective clients.
Technical Submittals:
o Develop and prepare technical submittals, including but not limited to technical data sheets, material schedules, compliance statements, and product data sheets tailored to project specifications.
o Conduct selection of pumps, valves, and control valves based on client-provided flow rates and detailed project requirements.
o Prepare sample boards in accordance with the specifications outlined in the technical submittals.
o Collaborate with management to address any consultant comments and ensure compliance with project standards.
o Maintain an up-to-date database reflecting the status of all technical submittals.
o Prepare periodic reports for management that summarize technical submittal activities.
Other Duties:
o Relay inquiries related to products or services outside company's scope to management for further action.
o Conduct analysis and comparisons of competitors' pricing and products, providing insightful reports to inform strategic decisions.
o Organize sales meetings, including preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and related documentation.
o Compile and present reports for review during sales meetings.
o Coordinate with Sales Engineers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi to provide project updates and visit reports, ensuring effective communication with management.
