Job Description
Centroid Solutions is a financial technology company that is seeking a skilled software Developer with experience in developing financial trading software. You will develop and design financial trading solutions and technologies, as well as maintaining and enhance existing software.
Main Duties
- Develop quality software in C++
- Analyze and maintain existing software applications
- Design highly scalable, testable code
- Discover and fix programming bugs
Strong C++ skills
Experienced with working in a POSIX environment
Fluency in databases such as PostgreSQL
Understanding of the financial trading industry (highly desirable)
Experience with FIX protocol (highly desirable)
Experience in MetaTrader 4 or 5 API (highly desirable)
Previous experience of real-time, multi-threaded software development
Degree educated in Computer Science or a closely related subject
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and inter-personal abilities
