Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Learn, design, engineer, configure, and commission hardware and software for PLC and SCADA systems. Design, engineer, and validate industrial automation systems, communication networks for local and remote control, and HMI/visualization tools for monitoring and control. Configure and integrate SCADA systems within industrial plants or substations for monitoring and control purposes. Assist in developing project statements of work, including technical and commercial terms, defining scope, identifying constraints, customer expectations, and major risks. Prepare technical and commercial offers by understanding and interpreting customer specifications and drawings. Participate in technical execution of projects, ensuring compliance with all project technical requirements. Design and optimize solutions, develop software applications, hardware designs, and project documentation according to assigned tasks. Design and execute quality tests, perform Factory Acceptance Tests, and carry out site commissioning with customers. Develop and deliver training for software and hardware solutions used in projects, both in person and through webinars. Be flexible to travel, including international travel to job sites. Comply with internal processes and methods in all activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering 1-4 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or substation projects Hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA configuration Familiarity with substation automation standards and protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, IEC 61850) Knowledge of Modicon PLC, EPO, and EPAS is a plus Experience with substation automation systems is a plus Experience with Wonderware System Platform is an advantage Basic knowledge of a coding language is a plus Excellent command of English; proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Willingness to travel, including international assignments
