JOB Purpose:-
The primary responsibilities of an Appeals Committee member are:
Play a crucial role in assisting the Chairperson of the Appeals Committee in handling and resolving complaints from consumers of Licensed Financial Institutions that are appealed to the Committee by either party.
Support the Appeals Committee's operations, gather relevant information, and ensure that the appeals process is conducted efficiently, fairly, and in accordance with the established policies and guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in the field of law.
Masters degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field is preferred.
Professional affiliations / certifications with a recognized institute.
Proficient in the English Language. Proficiency of the Arabic language is preferred
Years & Nature of Experience
8-10 years of experience of working in a similar role.
Extensive experience of Licensed Financial Institutions, with in-depth knowledge of various financial products, services, regulations and industry good practices.
Strong legal background and understanding.
2+ years working experience in the UAE, with appropriate familiarity with the UAE market and regulations.
