Roles and Responsibility

Strategy
  • Implement and maintain efficient, cost effective and highly resilient front office production systems (Infrastructure and Applications).
  • To apply knowledge of Technology, Financial products and Best Market Practice to ensure that SCB achieve the best possible return for any investment made within the following arenas, networks, market information systems, services and communications.
Business
  • Works with CIO and Technology Support in the TTO, support investment decisions on technology projects
  • Supports the Global ET team to engage with CTMs for any delivery of global projects at country level
Processes
  • Support delivery of all technology projects
  • Budget & PED preparations working with Country technology teams.
  • Project work stream updates in Clarity System
  • Work with engineering teams for solutions
  • Monitor the project deliverables
  • Provide Weekly/Monthly updates as required

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group?s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Governance
  • Embed the Group?s values and code of conduct in the team to ensure that adherence to the highest standards of ethics and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employee?s form part of the culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all salient SCB governance frameworks where there are direct touchpoints or any subsequent downstream influence
  • Ensure compliance with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements. This includes compliance with local banking laws and anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.
  • Represent TS Middle East Region at the relevant Process Governance Committees.

  • Preferred- Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince 2 or any industry standard)
