Job Specific Accountabilities
Payables Management
? Support the Accounts Payable Specialist in posting and processing accounting entries in line with NewCo's accounting principles; scanning statements, ledgers, and accounts to identify unusual and overdue items
? Assist the AP team in the preparation of required Debit/Credit Memos for miscellaneous transactions and ensure accurate deductions are made as per the requirement.
? Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and NewCo's accounting and financial guidelines
? Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned and update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
? Assist with reviewing of expenses and payroll records and ensure the availability of the required supporting documents prior to processing any payments.
? Assist the AP team in the preparation of purchase order accruals.
? Maintain and update suppliers and vendors detail on the system to facilitate the process of transaction review and processing.
? Review the list of terminated or resigned employees and ensure that changes along with deduction of loans and other advances are reflected accurately and as per the set guidelines.
? Adhere to the reconciliation schedule and analysis of accounts to ensure proper registration of all transactions.
Reporting
? Prepare and submit draft reports to the AP team to support in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
Minimum Experience
? 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting or related business discipline.
