Job Purpose

To support in the implementation and management of the AMOS project from end to end, and to provide business and technical support on the AMOS application for Engineering & Maintenance end users post implementation and to resolve any issues that might arise in collaboration with the IT Business Solutions team

Key Result Responsibilities

• Partners with Stakeholders and Consultants to develop processes in line with business needs and in accordance with agreed requirements.

• Designs and ensures the detailed documentation for AMOS parameters setup, workflows configuration and interfaces configuration during the project implementation.

• Develops detailed documentation for AMOS application processes during project implementation to be considered as reference by concerned parties.

• Maintains detailed, clear and well formulated records of User Application Testing during project implementation including all gaps highlighted and alternative recommendations and/or corrective measures adopted.

• Serves as focal point of contact for all end-users post Go Live for any queries, errors, and/or clarifications required. Responds to all queries and resolves any issues raised and filters those which require escalation to AMOS support.

• Follows-up thoroughly with AMOS support for resolution of errors within contractual time frame to ensure optimizing the contractual benefits.

• Ensures AMOS application new releases are tested by key users, feedback is received, documented and communicated to AMOS as required prior to production system upgrade within contractual time frame.

Key Result Responsibilities - Continued

• Evaluates and assesses all new releases for additional functions / process changes and internal processes and procedures to align as required.

• Works closely with the IT Business Solutions team to accommodate any changes required in application.

• Performs any additional responsibilities as advised by the line manager.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

• Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Electro Mechanical or equivalent; alternately a diploma or certificate in the related field from a recognized university or engineering college combined with needed experience.
• Project Management certificate, alternately the proven corresponding working experience is a must.
• Proficient in aircrafts engineering systems; proficient in AMOS software is an additional advantage.,
• Good MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates proficiency in technical writing skills.
• Fluent in English language (Spoken Arabic would be an advantage)

Work Experience

• 3+ years\' experience in the Aircraft Engineering in Airlines/MRO industry.
• Exposure on airline and Flight Operations is essential.
• Capable of drafting and implementing policies, procedures, and operating manuals as per business needs and in line with adopted regulations and approved quality standards.
• Has worked on executing contracts and service level agreements of extreme technical nature.
• Very good knowledge and working exposure to Commercial/Quality Assurance /Safety/Internal & External Audit operations and practices related to and affecting Engineering.
• High accuracy and attention to both results and details.
• Proven skills in analyzing data, identifying pitfalls and recommending cost-effective solutions.
• Cost-oriented, possesses effective problem solving and decision making skills.
• Employs technical expertise, and interpersonal relations to support company\'s objectives.
• Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
